There's lots to do in the local area or further afield. Bracken Hall House is situated on the picturesque Shipley Glen with its historic Victorian Tramway. It's only 1.5 miles from Baildon village and within walking distance of the World Heritage site of Saltaire, where you can visit Salts Mill and its unrivalled collection of Hockneys.

BAILDON VILLAGE
Bracken Hall House is situated on the picturesque Shipley Glen and approximate 1.5 miles from Baildon. Baildon is a pretty village on the edge of Rombalds Moor and leading to Ilkley Moor, with a well-stocked supermarket and a variety of independent shops, bars and eating places.
Baildon have a vibrant community spirit and hosts regular events including a monthly Farmers Market, the popular Baildon carnival, and the famous Harley Weekend over August Bank Holiday. Read more about events in Baildon and around on our Events page.
SALTAIRE
Bracken Hall House is within walking distance of the World Heritage site of Saltaire, where you can visit Salts Mill and its unrivalled collection of Hockneys. Eat at Salts Diner and explore the shops and culture within the mill.
It's only a short hop down the historic Victorian tramway to pretty Roberts Park and from there, the centre of Saltaire, with its lovely independent shops and variety of eating and drinking establishments
CITY LIFE
Bracken Hall House is an easy drive to the cities of Leeds, Bradford, Harrogate and York. Here, you'll find a wealth of cultural treasures including museums, art galleries and theatres.
The shopping in Leeds and Manchester is unrivalled, and you'll find big name prestige stores as well as quirky independent boutiques. Explore Bradford's industrial past and enjoy a cocktail in the newly refurbished Sunbridge Wells or artisan beer on trendy North Parade.
GATEWAY TO THE DALES
The countryside is on your doorstep at Bracken Hall House, and Ilkley, Haworth, Skipton, Grassington and the Yorkshire Dales are all within easy driving distance.
Although Skipton is known as 'the gateway to the Dales', we would argue that gateway is much nearer - just step outside and you'll see what we mean!
