Bracken Hall House B&B/self-catering bookings during Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation (updated 19/03/2020)

Due to the current coronavirus outbreak and restrictions and advice not to travel from the Government, we have taken cancellations now for all B&B and self-catering bookings for March and April 2020 and cancelled the popular bread course due at the end of April. All guests have been offered a new date to stay at Bracken Hall House later in the year (when the current situation changes) or have had deposits held on file until a date can be arranged. The bread course and will be re-arranged later in the year also.

If you have a booking beyond April 2020 and you booked directly please contact us if you have any concerns and we can discuss alternative dates for 2020. If you booked through a booking agent such as Airbnb and Homeaway, their extenuating circumstances policy and site cancellation policies will apply.

As well as cancellations we are not getting enquiries or new bookings for what would be our busy spring period and although we understand the situation, we hope that you will support us and return as soon as possible. We are also extending our gift voucher expiry dates to 18 months so if you do want to buy a gift for someone to enjoy, and have something to look forward to next year, then we can do vouchers for any amount.

On a personal note we are devastated to be closing the B&B and holiday house especially as we were approaching our busiest time of year and we thank all our suppliers and other small local businesses who will also suffer from closures and uncertainty over the coming months. We know it’s the kindness and support that we give to each other that will help us get through these unprecedented times and the future support of our small business that we are very grateful for.

Stay safe everyone and phone me if you have any concerns or future bookings! (Sally 07932 750715).
